The character counter stays inside the field it counts

The count of characters left floated over the edge of its box. A note under the field that ran to two lines pushed the count out onto that note, and a long value could slide underneath it. It bit hardest where the note previews what you're about to save, because that note grows as you type.

A single-line count now sits inside the box, so nothing under it can move it and nothing you type can hide it. Boxes you type several lines into are unchanged.
